Colorado-California

Just the other weekend my girlfriend from my college soccer team got married. So my college bestie flew out and we road tripped out for the wedding. 25 hours in the car in 3 days is no easy ft, but we did it! We stopped at Mesa Verde and Telluride, CO on the way there. Then that night we stayed the night in Montrose, CO.  We ended up pulling in an hour before the wedding. We quickly got ready and headed out!

The next weekend we headed up to Northern California. First we stopped in Big Bear, CA to see my dad. He has a lot next to the lake. That was a lot of fun. Dad and Ree took Bran and I out for Bran's birthday. We went to a great steakhouse. The next day we went to breakfast at Grizzly Manor Cafe and walked the village, played like 12 games of pickle ball, and my dad made some very tastey burgers! The next morning we woke up and drove the rest of the way to Northern, CA.

We got to Nor Cal and went to dinner with Bea and Davi, some friends we have from the military. The week started by going to a church function my mom had on Sunday. I got to see my lil Marsy from Big Brothers Big Sisters and her sister, Bella. I have been matched with Marsy for 3 1/2 years. It has been so neat watching her grow. as well as her sister.

The rest of the week was filled with catching up with friends, helping my mom in her classroom and going to Bishops Pumpkin Farm (my favorite pumpkin farm ever)! Bea came with us to Bishops, we drank their amazing Apple Cider and went through the corn maze. I just LOVE my Bea. She is seriously a God sent. After that we got ready for our T-38 ride on Thursday!!

We suited up to fly at about noon Thursday. Davi flew me and Beamer flew Brandon. It was hands down the COOLEST experience in aviation to date. Totally worth missing school for haha. Right after we took off we pulled 5g's. I did 3 loops, barrel rolls and then flew over Tahoe, Sacramento and back to Beale. Brandon's flight was very similar. He really enjoyed it too!
