We said that Jen would fly a formation solo this month, but because of the weather and corona-virus she didn't. But she did on the 1st of April so we are gonna count it!! I am so proud of her!!

I flew my last flight in the T-6 on the 11th and it was a bittersweet moment. It was only 30 minutes long as we were racing home to land before a thunderstorm rolled through. I'm gonna miss her, but I am happy to be moving on. The next aircraft I will be flying and Jen will be flying as well is the T-1.

That next weekend I went up to Memphis to see my family while Jen stayed home to study. We rode bikes, ran a 5K (my Dad and I also ran to the race and home from the race), watched Ford V. Ferrari (best movie I've seen in a while). Little did I know that this Corona-virus was getting pretty serious and that would be the last time I leave Columbus in a long time! I am glad I got to see everyone one last time before the Great Quarantine.

During the quarantine, Jen and I have managed to keep ourselves busy and somewhat productive. We invested more time and money into our plants and outside 'garden.' We still have bon fires at the trailer park with everyone, but just so you know we do remain a safe distance from each other! Our neighbor at the trailer park got a puppy and it seems like she doesn't understand the social distancing rule, but I let it slide cause she's a cutie. The other cutie in the trailer park (Jen) and I have a competition going on right now for the first one who can hold a handstand for 30 seconds. If Jen wins, I have to cook a fancy pasta dinner and if I win, she has to give me a full body massage for 30 minutes!

We also took a crack at the Tik Tok app which didn't work out so well:( (couldn't figure out how to rotate the video, sorry)

Jen has been cooking some amazing goodies and spoiling me with endless amounts of cookies! She also made jalapeno cheddar bread, banana bread and chocolate cherry pecan bread which is very tasty! Jen has been going in three times a week to fly and has zoom meetings with the instructors. I have had zoom meetings with the T-1 instructors sporadically and growing my mustache out for mustache March!! We both have started running more and I have been reading a lot on philosophy which I find very interesting. That's about all I got. Thanks for reading and stay safe!
